USM Shady Grove: Educational Center III

In collaboration with CANNON Design, Baltimore FON Architects is designing an ultra-modern educational center for University of Maryland at Shady Grove: Shady Grove-III (SG-III).  The scope of this project includes the construction of 195000 SF Shady Grove III building including related site improvements to include site amenities, minimal surface parking, vehicular/ pedestrian circulation, services access and site utilities. The site planning and development will address and accommodate a proposed parking structure for 600 cars. SG-III will contain technology- enhanced classrooms, computer classrooms, open class laboratories, and related support spaces; student service, administrative and faculty offices; Learning Resource Center and study facilities. Also contained within this new structure will be food service, student bookstore, lounge and a central computer control center.
