This multi-family
revitalization project involved the reconfiguration and redesign of a
blighted and run down 360-unit apartments complex into 126 vibrant and
dynamic Town Homes. With our design team, the dilapidated, high-density
10-acre property was reconfigured into a lower density, family oriented town
homes with rear decks and real porches that depict single-family dwelling in
the Baltimore Geographic area. In the site planning, defensible
private and public spaces were create by the use of picket and privacy
wooden fences to define property lines, thereby giving this rental estate, a
sense or an attribute that is characteristic of single family homes. This
project was done in collaboration with UDA. |
